China troops deployed to Myanmar border area

Chinese military has begun deploying tanks and other armored vehicles near the Myanmar border.  According to numerous witnesses, around 700 Chinese soldiers along with armoured vehicles and air defence systems will now head to Myanmar border area.

Serbs denied visit to Djakovica on Good Friday. -The Serbs who were forced out of Djakovica were also denied a visit on Christmas Eve

BELGRADE - Serbs who were driven out of the region of Djakovica, southwestern Kosovo, issued on Thursday a protest to the authorities in Pristina not being allowed to visit their town and properties on Good Friday.

"The Serbs from the Djakovica region are resentful of the institution in Pristina, EULEX and KFOR for being unable to ensure safety for 120 Serbs who properly filed a request to visit their town on Good Friday," President of the Association of Djakovica Citizens Djokica Stanojevic said on Thursday.

Albanians stone Serb bus in front of church in Djakovica

DJAKOVICA - Chair of the interim Djakovica municipal administration Kosta Belosevic stated that Albanians stoned a bus transporting displaced Serbs in Djakovica on Monday and did not allow them to visit the Church of the Assumption of the Holy Virgin Mary.

Belosevic told Tanjug that no Serb was injured in the incident, but considerable material damage was inflicted to the bus.

After the incident, the displaced Serbs who wished to attend the Christmas Eve ceremony in their homeland were escorted back by the Kosovo police to the Visoki Decani Monastery.

Ethnic Albanians protests against police arrests of suspects wanted in connection to the recent killings in Skopje were marred by vandalism but did not result in major incidents....

Some 10,000 mainly young Albanians gathered in front of Skopje's Jaja-Pasha Mosque after the midday prayer in the Albanian dominated municipality of Cair to express anger over the arrests.

The crowd later moved to the centre of the city, stopping before the Skopje court building and the government.

FYROM's police are on alert in the capital, Skopje, in Tetovo, Gostivar, Debar, Struga and other towns where ethnic Albanian activists, using Facebook and Twitter, have announced street protests after Friday’s midday prayers.
The rallies are directed against police arrests of so-called radical Islamists, wanted in connection to last month’s murders of five people near Skopje.

Διαδηλώσεις Αλβανών στα Σκόπια για συλλήψεις ομοεθνών τους ...

Σχετικά με τη δολοφονία πέντε ανθρώπων στις 12 Απριλίου. Περίπου 5000 Αλβανοί από τα Σκόπια διαδήλωσαν, σήμερα, στο κέντρο της πόλης, κατά των συλλήψεων ομοεθνών τους από την αστυνομία της ΠΓΔΜ, την περασμένη Τρίτη, σχετικά με τη δολοφονία πέντε ανθρώπων στις 12 Απριλίου στην περιοχή Σμίλκοβτσι, κοντά στα Σκόπια. Οι σημερινές διαδηλώσεις Αλβανών στα Σκόπια διοργανώθηκαν μέσω ιστοσελίδων κοινωνικής δικτύωσης. 

Οι διαδηλωτές, μουσουλμάνοι στο θρήσκευμα, μετά την προσευχή της Παρασκευής πραγματοποίησαν πορεία διαμαρτυρίας στο κέντρο των Σκοπίων, η οποία κατέληξε μπροστά από το κτίριο της κυβέρνησης της ΠΓΔΜ.

FYROM's police have pressed terrorism charges against five people for the gruesome murders of five people in Skopje on April 12, three of whom have been arrested....
Police Minister Gordana Jankulovska said on Wednesday that the authorities have charged five men for the brutal murders on the outskirts of Skopje, three of whom have been arrested. The three men, all ethnic Albanians, were seized during yesterday’s police raids.

Police have swooped on 20 allegedly radical Muslims as suspects for the murders of five men in Skopje on April 12. ...
FYROM's Interior Minister announced that police had arrested 20 radical Islamists on Tuesday in an operation in several villages around the capital in connection with the murders of five men in Skopje on April 12.

"The arrested men are radical Islamists who have been fighting in Afghanistan and Pakistan against NATO and they will be charged with terrorism," Gordana Jankulovska said.

Σκόπια: «Είμαστε στόχος ακραίων ισλαμιστών λόγω εμπλοκής μας στο Αφγανιστάν» ...

« Η χώρα μας είναι μέρος της παγκόσμιας συμμαχίας για την ειρήνη και δραστηριοποιείται στο Αφγανιστάν, είμαστε, δηλαδή, από τις χώρες που θα μπορούσε να γίνει πιθανός στόχος των ριζοσπαστών Ισλαμιστών».

Τα παραπάνω δήλωσε σε συνέντευξη Τύπου, σήμερα η υπουργός Εσωτερικών των Σκοπίων, Γκορντάνα Γιανκουλόβσκα στο πρακτορείο maxfax.

Η συνέντευξη δόθηκε εξαιτίας της σύλληψης 20 ατόμων τα οποία θεωρούνται ύποπτα για την δολοφονία των πέντε νεαρών ψαράδων σε περιοχή κοντά στην πόλη των Σκοπίων.

ΠΓΔΜ : Συλλήψεις για τη δολοφονία πέντε ανθρώπων την Μ. Πέμπτη ...

Η αστυνομία της ΠΓΔΜ συνέλαβε σήμερα στα Σκόπια 20 ανθρώπους, οι οποίοι σχετίζονται με τη δολοφονία πέντε Σλάβων εθνικά σκοπιανών, που σημειώθηκε τη Μ. Πέμπτη στην περιοχή Σμίλκοβτσι.

Όπως ανέφερε η υπουργός Εσωτερικών της ΠΓΔΜ, Γκορντάνα Γιανκούλοφσκα, οι συλληφθέντες είναι ακραίοι ισλαμιστές, οι οποίοι έχουν συμμετάσχει σε πολεμικές δράσεις κατά του ΝΑΤΟ στο Πακιστάν και στο Αφγανιστάν.

Εις βάρος τους θα ασκηθεί δίωξη για τρομοκρατία.

President Topi on Thursday launched a two-day visit to the neighbouring country at a time of heightened tension between FYROM slavs and country’s Albanian minority.

“Each nationalistic or ultra-nationalistic reflex or a climate of prejudice harms relations between ethnic slavs and ethnic Albanians in FYROM as well as regional relations,” Topi said.

Ivanov and Topi sent a joint message urging people to preserve peace and harmony despite provocations.

1. FYROM 's Interior Minister Gordana Jankulovska says that police have made "serious progress" in the investigation into the grisly murder of five men on Thursday in Skopje.

"We have established the profile of the perpetrators, but not their identity," Jankulovska told reporters on Sunday. She said that many calls from people on the special line the police set up for the case have helped eliminate some of the scenarios about the killings.
