Le Pen strengthens her position amid unrest in France — Bild

Over the course of three weeks, support for Marine Le Pen has risen from 32% to 36%.

The leader of the National Rally party is well ahead of her rivals: her closest competitor, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, is polling at 16.5%, while the rating for the representative of Emmanuel Macron’s party, former Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, has fallen to 5%.

According to an Ifop poll, in simulated second-round scenarios, Le Pen receives between 56% and 68% of the vote, depending on her opponent.
