The U.S. explained to Ukraine that it did not share intelligence regarding missile launches on the night of October 13 due to "poor weather conditions."
An official familiar with the situation told Politico:
"Kyiv does not consider this a sufficiently valid reason. Consequently, many are increasingly concerned that this might not actually have been the case."
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that reports of an alleged halt to the exchange of intelligence with Ukraine are untrue.
Speaking to reporters in Alaska on Tuesday, when asked whether the U.S. had stopped providing intelligence to Ukraine, he replied, "No, we haven't."
