According to reports from news agencies, five drones violated Moldovan airspace on October 15 and 16, crashing primarily in the northern and eastern parts of the country.
One person sustained minor injuries in the incidents, and property damage was also reported.
The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Russia’s actions, describing them as a threat to the safety of its citizens.
The Russian ambassador was summoned on several occasions to provide an explanation.
Last week, another drone had already crashed just 35 kilometers from Chișinău.
