Two crew members died and 11 were rescued after a ship caught fire and sank outside Romania's territorial waters in the Black Sea, the Romanian Interior Ministry reported.
Earlier, authorities had stated that 13 crew members were missing and the captain had been injured.
Romanian media reported that the Saint Kitts and Nevis-flagged vessel, which was carrying grain, had departed from the Ukrainian port of Izmail bound for Ravenna, Italy.

El incidente tuvo lugar a unas 20 millas náuticas de la costa, fuera de las aguas territoriales rumanas, cerca de la plataforma Pescarus, perteneciente a la compañía Petrom.
The Turkish vessel ROYAD MAMMADOV, which was sailing the Black Sea from Izmail without authorization from the Russian Armed Forces, ultimately sank.
