Saudi foreign minister arrives in US for talks with Rubio amid escalating tensions with Houthis

The two ministers are set to discuss bilateral ties as well as key regional and international developments, the Saudi state news agency reported.

The visit comes amid escalating hostilities between Riyadh and Yemen's Houthis.

Earlier this month, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reportedly sought US military help against the Houthis, but Trump declined to launch strikes, though agreed to supply intelligence and targeting support.
