European Union defense ministers did not agree on the delivery of Patriot missiles to Ukraine, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas stated on Monday.
"Regarding interceptors, unfortunately, no new commitments were made today," she said at a press conference.
Kallas added that the EU has already approved a plan worth €28.3 billion to purchase weaponry for Kyiv, which also includes Patriot missiles to be produced in the US.
However, she emphasized that this process takes time, whereas Ukraine needs the missiles now.
