Iraqi forces recapture areas around ISIS-held Ramadi

Iraqi security forces on Wednesday retook control of several areas from the Islamic State (IS) militants around the city of Ramadi, the capital of the western province of Anbar, a military spokesman and provincial security source said.

Ukraine's Kolomoyskyi Behind Murder of Russian Cameraman (Russian Instigative Committee)

The current governor of Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk Region, Ihor Kolomoyskyi, is responsible for the death of Anatoly Klyan, the cameraman from Russia’s Channel-1 television station that was fatally shot in Ukraine, Russian Instigative Committee official spokesman Vladimir Markin said Wednesday.
"Today, when we said farewell to Anatoly Klyan, a cameraman from Channel One who was killed by the Ukrainian military, everybody understands that Kolomoyskyi himself is behind this death as well. [Kolomoyskyi] will have to answer for [Klyan's] death and the deaths of other Russian journalists as well as residents of Odesa [Ukraine’s southern city] and Donbas [Ukraine’s eastern regions]," Markin told reporters.
