Ukraine planes make surgical strikes on Donetsk militia (spokesperson). Ukrainian army “keeps using phosphorous bombs against civilians”(militia)

Ukrainian aircraft have made on Wednesday surgical strikes on militia positions on the outskirts of Makeyevka, Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council’s information and analytical centre told a news briefing.

“Military hardware and strongholds of militia fighters have been destroyed,” Andrei Lysenko said, adding that there had been reports about the destruction of a Grad multiple rocket launcher system.
A militia's checkpoint has been destroyed near the town of Makeyevka, he says. “Information about enemy losses in hardware and personnel is being specified,” he added.

Ukraine: HRW accuse Kiev de crime de guerre / Rusia tiene pruebas del uso de bombas de fósforo contra civiles

L'organisation internationale de défense des droits de l'homme Human Rights Watch (HRW) a annoncé que l'armée ukrainienne utilisait des lance-roquettes multiples Grad contre des civils et a rappelé que cela constituait une violation du droit international et pouvait être assimilé à un crime de guerre, indique un communiqué mis en ligne sur le site de HRW.

Selon les militants des droits de l'homme, entre le 12 et le 21 juillet, des systèmes Grad ont été utilisés au moins à quatre reprises contre les localités situées sur les territoires contrôlés par les opposants au régime de Kiev. Ces bombardements ont fait au moins 16 morts et des dizaines de blessés.

Ukraine: Kiev utilise des armes interdites contre des sites civils (Comité d'enquête)

Les experts du Comité d'enquête russe ont établi que l'armée ukrainienne avait utilisé des munitions au phosphore blanc contre des sites civils dans l'est du pays, a annoncé le haut responsable du Comité Alexandre Drymanov cité par le journal Kommersant.

"Des munitions au phosphore ont été employées contre la population civile (…). Nous avons conduit des tests qui nous ont permis d'établir que des sites civils ont été visés par ces tirs", a fait savoir M.Drymanov dans une interview accordée au quotidien.

Ukraine Denies Using White Phosphorus in Slaviansk

The Ukrainian security forces have not used white phosphorous in bombing the civilians in the southeast of the country, Ukraine’s Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said.
"I understand that you haven’t believed it [the information about the use of phosphorous bombs] for a single moment," Avakov wrote on Facebook.
The UN considers phosphorus munitions as weapons of mass destruction, their use is prohibited by the Geneva Convention.

Moscow urges international reaction to use of prohibited ammunition in Ukraine (incendiary bombs)

Draft resolution got “some support” from U.N. Security Council members...

Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vitaly Churkin urged the international community to react to the use of prohibited ammunition in Ukraine.
He spoke specifically of projectiles with white phosphorus used by the Ukrainian army.
“We think that the international community should pay attention to the use by Ukraine of prohibited ammunition in combat. This happened before too, and we are very much concerned about this,” he said on Thursday, June 12.
