Russia's Yandex fined for refusing to share user information

A Moscow court fined Nasdaq-listed Yandex YNDX.O 2 million roubles ($24,242) for repeatedly refusing to provide the Federal Security Service, or FSB, with information about its users, Russia's state TASS news agency reported early on Monday.

Google says it will appeal
Technology giant Google said it was to appeal the European Commission's decision on Wednesday to impose on it a fine of 4.34 billion euros ($5 billion) for alleged illegal practices linked to Android mobile devices in a bid to strengthen the dominance of its renowned search engine.
