Ψάχνουν για «Μακεδόνες» ....

ΝΤΑΣΚΑΛΟΦ: ΚΑΝΤΟ ΟΠΩΣ ΟΙ ΣΚΟΠΙΑΝΟΙ!

Και οι Βούλγαροι αναζητούν τώρα τους συμπατριώτες τους, που όπως λέει ο καθηγητής… Ιστορίας Γκεόργκι Ντασκάλοφ, ζουν ακόμη στη… «Μακεδονία του Αιγαίου».

Σύμφωνα με τον Ντασκάλοφ, η Σόφια πρέπει να δραστηριοποιηθεί προς αυτήν την κατεύθυνση.

Κατηγορεί μάλιστα την βουλγαρική κυβέρνηση πως έχει αφήσει τους ανθρώπους αυτούς στην τύχη τους και δεν ακολούθησε το παράδειγμα των Σκοπιανών, που μέσω του κόμματος «Ουράνιο Τόξο», κάνουν το παν για να αποδείξουν πως η «Μακεδονία του Αιγαίου» τους ανήκει.

Ο Ντασκάλοφ υποστηρίζει επίσης ότι ο επικεφαλής αυτού του σκοπιανού προπαγανδιστικού κόμματος, εκπαιδεύτηκε από τις μυστικές υπηρεσίες στο Βελιγράδι όπου και προφανώς προετοιμάζονταν για την μελλοντική καριέρα του ως «Μακεδονιστής».

Ο Βούλγαρος καθηγητής για μια ακόμα φορά επικρίνει τις βουλγαρικές αρχές και τους ρίχνει τις ευθύνες για την… αφομοίωση από την Ελλάδα του βουλγαρικού πληθυσμού μετά το 1943.

Το ερώτημα είναι ποιός είναι αυτός ο «Έλληνας» που κατασκεύασαν οι αρχές της τότε Γιουγκοσλαβίας για να προπαγανδίσει την θεωρία πώς υπάρχει εθνική μειονότητα «Μακεδόνων» επί ελληνικού εδάφους!

The focus of the celebrations will be the central square of Skopje, "Macedonia", which now resembles Disneyland, dotted with small and large statues of figures of Greek and Bulgarian history, which the Skopjans are trying to assume as their own regarding them as ..."Macedonians."

The statue of Alexander the Great stands in the square, and its official name is "mounted warrior" to not induce Greece, with height similar to an eight-floor building. The platform from which PM Gruevski will speak to the crowd that is expected to gather from across the country by buses that will take them to the capital for free, will be set before him.

The event is expected to become a gathering for the governmental party of VMRO, since the largest opposition parties will not attend. Representatives from DUI, the co-governing Albanian party, will also be absent.

Georgievski’s comment in "Nova Macedonia" is quite sharp. "The celebration on the occasion of the 20 years from the country's independence, with the inauguration of the monument of Alexander of Macedonia, is nothing but a carnival, a historic triumph of paganism, not worthy the significant anniversary," he said, explaining why he will not attend Thursday fiesta.

Today is the official opening of the renovated international airport of Skopje, which was renamed to "Aleksandar Veliki" in 2008, and is managed by a company of Turkish interests.

Αξιότιμε κύριε Παπαθεμελή,

Σας ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ για την επιστολή σας που μου διαβίβασαν οι εκδότες. Βρήκα το περιεχόμενό της πολύ πολύτιμο, και με τιμά τόσο το ότι μου γράψατε όσο και οι φιλοφρονητικές τελικές παρατηρήσεις σας.
Πράγματι, δεν πιστεύω ότι διαφωνούμε σε αυτό το θεμελιώδες ζήτημα των φυλετικών συσχετισμών των Μακεδόνων. Σε απάντησή μου στην ερώτηση στη συζήτησή μου δεν θα μπορούσα να καλύψω κάθε σημείο και προσπάθησα να επικεντρωθώ σε μερικά από τα ακαδημαϊκά ζητήματα που καθιστούν δύσκολη την βεβαιότητα: ίσως επικεντρώθηκα πάρα πολύ στη γλώσσα παρά σε άλλα ζητήματα. Οι παραπομπές σας αποτελούν πολύ σημαντικά στοιχεία για την Ελληνικότητα της μακεδονικής βασιλικής οικογένειας και της μακεδονικής πολιτιστικής περιοχής.
Δεν μίλησα για τα πολιτικά ζητήματα επειδή, όπως εσείς, πιστεύω σθεναρά ότι δεν υπάρχει καμία βάση για τις αξιώσεις που προέρχονται από τα Σκόπια για τους Μακεδόνες. Αυτές οι αξιώσεις δεν αξίζουν να συμπεριληφθούν σε μια σοβαρή ακαδημαϊκή συζήτηση, και θα καταλάβετε από το βιβλίο μου τι σκέφτομαι γι’ αυτές.

Dear Mr Papathemelis,

Thank you very much for your letter forwarded to me by the Publishers. I found its content very valuable, and I am honoured by the trouble you took in writing to me, as well as by your complimentary concluding remarks.
Indeed, I do not think we are in disagreement on this fundamental question of the racial affiliations of the Macedonians. In my reply to the question at my talk I could not cover every point and I tried to concentrate on some of the scholarly issues that make certainty hard to obtain; perhaps I focussed too much on language rather than other issues. The citations you raise are all very important evidence for the Greekness of the Macedonian royal family and the Macedonian cultural region.
I did not speak of the political issues because, like you, I firmly believe there is no basis whatever for the claims that emanate from Skopje about the Macedonians. These claims do not deserve to be rehearsed in a serious scholarly discussion, and you will know from my book what I think of them.
