US senator blasts ‘Big Oil’ for profiting off Iran war

Bernie Sanders has criticised oil companies for profiting off the US-Israel war on Iran at the expense of working-class families.

“While gas prices are up 39% since Trump started his illegal Iran War, Exxon’s profits are up 130%, Chevron’s are up 185% and Shell’s profits nearly doubled,” Sanders wrote on X.

“Working families struggle while Big Oil rips them off,” he said.

“Trump’s response: ‘I don’t give a damn’.”
