Tehran has abandoned previous restrictions on the range of its ballistic missiles and is now prepared to utilize its full potential, stated Hossein Mohebbi, a spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
According to him, Iran possesses the technology and resources required to independently produce and modernize its weaponry: "We will never allow the enemy to prevent us, even for a single moment, from producing and modernizing weapons," he emphasized.
Mohebbi also made it clear that Tehran is prepared to demonstrate the full capabilities of its arsenal, should the need arise. Previously, Iran had indicated a range limit of a certain distance, but in March 2026, a launch with a range of approximately 4,000 km was recorded, involving two ballistic missiles fired toward a U.S.-UK base on Diego Garcia.
In theory, this brings Central Europe, and potentially Western Europe, within reach.
