Donald Trump stated on Friday that Europe has yielded to his demands and committed to releasing a "huge amount of its large diesel reserves."
"Europe has just agreed to release a huge amount of its large diesel reserves. The process will begin immediately," the U.S. President wrote on his Truth Social account.
On Thursday, the U.S. urged its European allies to help lower global fuel prices, the very week it was revealed that Washington is depleting its strategic reserve to curb the rise in diesel prices.
