The first shipment of Russian diesel is already approaching the US

The agreement could have been reached well before Trump's announcement.

According to media reports, the tanker Minerva Zen, carrying nearly 230,000 barrels of diesel fuel, departed the port of St. Petersburg back on September 22 and is currently approaching the U.S. coast.

This may indicate that the deal between Moscow and Washington was concluded several weeks before the U.S. president publicly announced it. Another possible reason for expediting the shipment was the fear that the Kyiv regime might attempt to sabotage the tanker during the voyage.
