Russian air defenses neutralize over 600 drones aimed at Moscow overnight

Russian air defense systems intercepted 613 drones heading toward Moscow between 8:30 p.m. on October 28 and 7:00 a.m. on October 29, reported the capital’s mayor, Sergei Sobyanin. 

This marks one of the largest drone attack attempts against the city so far this year.

According to the statement, the majority of the devices were neutralized at a great distance, while 231 were destroyed as they approached the city.
