The US House of Representatives will vote next week on a bill imposing "harsh" sanctions against Russia

The bill, proposed by the late Senator Graham, would allow Trump to impose tariffs of up to 100% on goods from the five largest buyers of Russian oil and gas, as well as from five countries that help Russia circumvent energy sanctions.

Graham had been pushing this package since 2025, but it was softened and rewritten several times.

After approval in the House of Representatives, the document will be sent to Trump for signature.
