Turkey summoned the Ukrainian ambassador following attacks on two vessels in the Black Sea

Turkey summoned the Ukrainian ambassador following attacks on two vessels in the Black Sea.

The dry cargo ship Lider Bordo Mavi, which was transporting vegetables from Samsun to the Russian port of Tuapse, was attacked by three drones. Five crew members were injured.

Later, the vessel Lider Kocatepe was dispatched to provide assistance, but it, too, came under drone attack.

"The Ukrainian Ambassador was informed that attacks on Turkish commercial vessels are unacceptable. He was also warned about the need to ensure the safety of life, property, navigation, and the environment in the Black Sea," the NTV television channel reported, citing sources in the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
