Western countries have been turning a blind eye to the Kiev regime’s deliberate attacks targeting children, encouraging such behavior by all means, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s official spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, said.
"The horrible count of the Kiev regime’s brutal crimes continues. They are deliberately targeting children," she said. "Not only do they turn a blind eye, they encourage it in different forms - by sending more and more diverse weapons, and by providing them with political and informational support. They justify barbaric acts, they hush up acts of terror, they whitewash the neo-Nazi nature of those responsible."
July 27 marks the Day of Remembrance for Child Victims of the War in Donbass. The day commemorates a brutal Ukrainian attack on Gorlovka, which left 22 civilians dead, including four children. Among the victims was 23-year-old Kristina Zhuk, who was holding her 10-month-old daughter Kira in her arms. The mother and child became known as the "Gorlovka Madonna," and residents of Donetsk later referred to the day of the tragedy as "Bloody Sunday."
The spokeswoman went on to say that Russia never forgets anything.
"We will keep exposing the brutal crimes committed by the Kiev regime with full support of the self-styled ‘progressive’ part of the global community. We will seek to bring everyone responsible for children’s suffering, pain and deaths, to justice," the spokeswoman said.
"And no, this is not revenge, this is not instinct - it is a matter of preserving what is called humane behavior," she added.

Russia’s enemies cannot defeat the country militarily and are turning to terrorist methods, President Vladimir Putin said at a Kremlin meeting with members of the outgoing Eighth State Duma (lower house of parliament).

"However, no one has ever succeeded in breaking the Russian people. It has never happened and it will never happen," he stressed.
EU leaders are betraying their own values by turning a blind eye to the Kiev regime’s crimes in Donbass, and will be held responsible for Europe’s moral degradation, Russian Ambassador to Italy Alexey Paramonov said on the occasion of Day of Remembrance for Child Victims of the War in Donbass.

"The ‘civilized’ Europe still pretends not to hear the statements by Ukrainian hierarchs who call Donbass residents ‘non-humans’ and say that Russians have no right to exist. The European Union leaders abandon the foundations of its own civilization, exposing to the world their greed, double-dealing, cynicism, their lack of values and their moral degeneration. Naturally, they will have to bear responsibility for this politics, we are all certain," he stated.
Most of the Ukrainian armed forces’ war crimes as a result of which children in Donbass were killed, were committed with weapons supplied to Kiev by Western countries, Deputy Chair of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs and former Foreign Minister of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Natalia Nikonorova said at a memorial event for children who fell victim to the war in Donbass.
ReplyDeleteThe Federation Council member compared the brutality of the Ukrainian armed forces to that of German Nazi soldiers during WWII. She noted that the Ukrainian armed forces deliberately attacked civilians, specifically by mining civilian infrastructure in Donbass with antipersonnel mines prohibited by international conventions, and by striking children and their parents, as well as educational institutions, such as a college in Starobelsk in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR).
DeleteAccording to the DPR government office for documenting war crimes of Ukraine, 257 children have been killed in the republic as a result of Ukrainian aggression since 2014.
