Russian envoy tells German MFA Moscow runs out of patience over Ukrainian crimes

During a meeting at the German Foreign Ministry, Russian Ambassador to Berlin Sergey Nechaev made it clear that Moscow’s patience regarding crimes committed by the Ukrainian army has been exhausted after the tragedy in Starobelsk, the Russian diplomatic mission told reporters.

Earlier on Tuesday, the German Foreign Ministry summoned Nechaev over Russian retaliatory strikes on military facilities in Kiev.

"The Russian ambassador took the opportunity to make it unequivocally clear to the German side that we have reached the limit of our patience," the diplomatic mission said. It also reported that Nechaev "drew attention to the Russian Foreign Ministry’s statement of May 25, 2026, which contains recommendations to ensure the evacuation of foreign citizens and diplomatic personnel from the Ukrainian capital," and "called for this warning to be taken with the utmost seriousness."
