The United States postpones its possible bombing of Iran’s civil infrastructure for two weeks, US President Donald Trump said.
ReplyDelete"Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the complete, immediate, and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks," the US leader wrote on Truth Social.
Global oil prices have fallen sharply and stock markets have jumped after the US and Iran agreed a conditional two-week ceasefire deal that includes the reopening of the key Strait of Hormuz waterway.

"Or I wouldn't have settled," Trump said, without giving any specifics about what would happen to the uranium.
Washington coordinated with Israel in advance its two-week ceasefire with Iran and assured that it will stick to common goals during the upcoming talks with the Islamic Republic, The Times of Israel wrote, citing an unnamed Israeli official.
