Iran will inflict painful strikes against Israeli and US infrastructure in the Middle East in the event of further attacks on its industrial facilities, the press service of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, the elite unit of the Iranian Armed Forces) has said.
"These strikes are only a warning. If the attack on Iranian industry is repeated, the next response will be much more painful. These will include strikes against the main infrastructure facilities of the regime of occupation and US economic facilities in the region," the Tasnim news agency quoted the statement as saying.
Earlier, the IRGC announced strikes against a United States Steel plant in Abu Dhabi, a US aluminum smelter in Bahrain, and the production facilities of the Israeli arms company Rafael.
