The Saudi Ministry of Defence says it has intercepted and destroyed four drones over the country’s Rub al-Khali desert that were heading towards the Shaybah oilfield.
This is at least the fourth such attack on the field in recent hours.
The price of Brent crude oil for May 2026 delivery exceeded $119 per barrel on London's ICE Exchange for the first time since June 17, 2022, according to trading data.
