Israel’s Ynet News is reporting that Israeli air defences have intercepted two waves of missiles targeting southern parts of the country in the past hour.
According to the Israeli Home Front Command, there were no casualties from the incidents.
YNet also reported that alarms sounded in central Israel in the past hour due to a projectile launched from Lebanon. The weapon was intercepted, it added.
Over the past dat, we saw a fire and smoke filling the sky at UAE’s Fujairah port. The media office for the port said that was because of debris from an interception.
In the UAE alone, at least 33 drones and nine ballistic missiles were intercepted. In Kuwait, seven went into their airspace and two of them hit a military base – the Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base airbase – where three servicemen were injured. The international airport was also hit and the radar was damaged, but the Iranians said that wasn’t them
Here in Qatar, the Ministry of Defence on Saturday said it intercepted four ballistic missiles and a number of drones and then in Saudi Arabia, waves of drones that entered their airspace were intercepted.
