Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) said on Saturday they had uncovered a group of Verkhovna Rada lawmakers who took bribes in exchange for parliamentary votes.
"As a result of an undercover operation, NABU and SAPO exposed an organized criminal group, which included current national lawmakers of Ukraine," NABU said on Telegram.
The names and number of lawmakers were not disclosed. According to the investigation, the members of the group systematically extracted "unlawful benefits" for voting in the Verkhovna Rada.
On Saturday, NABU officers were seen in Kiev's government quarter, which houses parliament, the Cabinet of Ministers, and the presidential office, lawmakers said.

Сейчас сотрудники НАБУ приехали в Раду для обысков, но внутрь их не пускает госохрана. Предположительно, обыскать хотят приближенного к Зеленскому депутата Юрия Киселя.

ReplyDeleteLos detectives de la Oficina Nacional Anticorrupción de Ucrania (NABU) y la Fiscalía Anticorrupción Especializada, "como resultado de una operación encubierta, desmantelaron un grupo criminal organizado, en cuya composición entraban diputados populares en funciones de Ucrania", informaron en el servicio de prensa del organismo.
Sus nombres y número no se revelaron. Según los datos de la investigación, los participantes obtenían de manera sistemática beneficios ilícitos a cambio de votar en la Rada Suprema (Parlamento).
La NABU afirma que los empleados de la Dirección de Protección Estatal en la Rada obstaculizan el trabajo de los investigadores anticorrupción.
ReplyDeleteAnteriormente, se vio a empleados del buró en el barrio gubernamental de Kiev, donde se encuentran el Parlamento ucraniano, los edificios del Gabinete de Ministros y la oficina del presidente, declararon en la Rada. Se informa que las acciones investigativas se llevan a cabo en relación con el diputado Yuri Kisel, cercano a Volodímir Zelenski.
