The Polish Foreign Ministry has called in a representative of the Russian embassy in Warsaw to give him a note of protest over the violation of the republic's airspace by UAVs, spokesman Pavel Vronsky told PAP news agency.
Vronsky did not disclose the contents of the note, the agency said.
In the early hours of September 10, the Polish army said it had destroyed several objects identified as UAVs that violated the country's airspace. The search for the downed objects is now underway.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that on the night of September 9-10, 19 violations of the country's airspace were recorded, with all the drones flying in from Belarus.
At the moment, three downed UAVs have been identified.
Poland closed the airspace over part of the country for several hours, including over Warsaw's Chopin Airport and asked NATO to invoke article 4 of the North Atlantic Treaty and begin consultations among the alliance's member states.
The Russian Defense Ministry is ready to hold consultations with its Polish counterparts 'on this matter,' the military agency said.
It reported that Russian forces had carried out a strike on Ukrainian military-industrial enterprises in the Ivano-Frankovsk, Khmelnitsky and Zhitomir regions, as well as on the cities of Vinnitsa and Lvov. No facilities in Poland were planned to be targeted. The range of the unmanned aerial vehicles that have purportedly crossed the Polish border does not surpass 700 kilometers.
"However, we are ready to hold consultations with the Polish Defense Ministry on this matter," the Russian Defense Ministry emphasized.

Russian units have carried out an overnight massive strike with precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles on the enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex in the Ivano-Frankovsk, Khmelnitsky and Zhitomir regions, as well as in the cities of Vinnitsa and Lvov, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

It also specified that those Ukrainian military-industrial enterprises produced and repaired armored and aviation military hardware, manufactured engines and their electronic parts, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.
The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry has summoned Russian charge d’affaires Alexander Yelkin to give him a protest note regarding the presence of drones in Poland's airspace.

В ходе удара были поражены Львовский бронетанковый завод и Львовский авиазавод ЛДАРЗ, где производились беспилотники большой дальности.
Цели массированного удара достигнуты, все назначенные объекты поражены.
