Andriy Parubiy, a former head of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council and a former parliamentary speaker, was shot dead in Lvov on Saturday, Ukrainian police and media said.
"Today, around noon, a shooting was reported to 102 in the Sykhovsky district of Lvov. The victim died from his injuries at the scene. The deceased was identified as a well-known public and political figure born in 1971," the national police force said in a statement, without naming the victim.
Ukrainian news channel identified him as Parubiy. Photos published by social media showed a man who appeared to be Parubiy lying on the ground.
Law enforcement officers are taking all measures to identify the shooter and determine their whereabouts, the police said. All details will be disclosed in accordance with the procedures and scope provided by criminal procedure legislation.

ReplyDeleteПо данным СМИ, после этого стрелок спрятал оружие в сумку. Район происшествия оцеплен, ведутся масштабные поиски.
Само убийство, скорее всего, носит политический и заказной характер, уверены в Госдуме РФ.
