Ahmed Abu Aziz, who worked with the Quds Network and other media outlets, has died after being wounded in the Israeli attack on Nasser Hospital earlier today, becoming the fifth journalist to have been killed in the attack.
At least 20 people were killed in a “double tap” attack on the medical complex, on of Gaza’s last remaining functioning hospitals.
Those killed include journalists, doctors and civil defence workers who had rushed to help the wounded after an initial bombing.
Israeli political scientist Menachem Klein says the deadly attack on Nasser Hospital is a “criminal operation” that made possible the Israeli army’s collective dehumanisation of all Palestinians in Gaza.

ReplyDeleteAccording to the television channel, there are five journalists and four hospital employees are among those killed.
Belgium’s Foreign Minister said he does not rule out blocking the government’s major decisions if political parties continue to prevent him from taking a tougher stance on Israel.
ReplyDelete“If the government does not take a tougher stance on human rights violations by the Israeli government or recognise Palestine, there is a risk of a major crisis,” Maxime Prevot, who is also the deputy PM, was quoted as saying by De Standaard on Monday.
“For me and my party, Gaza is indeed a crucial issue. We absolutely must find a solution within the government.”

ReplyDeleteSelon des témoins, la deuxième frappe sur l’hôpital Nasser est intervenue après l’arrivée de secouristes et de journalistes sur les lieux d’une première frappe. La diffusion d’images en direct de Reuters depuis l’hôpital, dont s’occupait Houssam al Masri, a été soudainement interrompue au moment de la frappe initiale, selon des images de Reuters.
