Russia fired a record 479 drones at Ukraine in an overnight aerial barrage, Kyiv’s air force said on Monday, the latest massive attack as Moscow rejects calls for a ceasefire.
The attack caused damage in several Ukrainian regions, though there were no reports of people killed or mass casualties.
“Enemy air strikes were recorded in 10 spots,” the Ukrainian air force said.
Russia struck deep beyond the frontlines overnight, hitting western Ukraine with dozens of drones and missiles, according to Rivne Mayor Oleksandr Tretyak, who called it "the largest attack" on the region.
Poland scrambled fighter jets this morning to secure its airspace after neighbouring western Ukraine was hit by major Russian strikes.

Ukraine's air force said that Russia launched 479 drones and 20 missiles during an overnight assault, with targets included an airfield.

The air force added that it had recorded hits in 10 locations and debris falling in 17 locations.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky knows that Kiev is losing and for that reason is trying to lure NATO into a conflict with Russia, US Senator Tommy Tuberville has said.

the Ukrainian military said that it had struck the VNIIR electronic plant in Russia's Chuvashia region overnight, more than 600km east of Moscow.

ReplyDeleteL'armée de l'air ukrainienne a précisé dans un communiqué que 460 de ces drones avaient été interceptés ou neutralisés, ainsi que 19 des 20 missiles tirés par la Russie. "Des impacts ont été enregistrés à dix endroits", a-t-elle précisé, sans donner plus de détails.
Le précédent record remonte au 1er juin. Durant cette nuit du 31 mai au 1er juin, l'Ukraine avait dit avoir été visée par 472 drones dans la nuit.
