The Netherlands allowed the Ukrainian Armed Forces to use F-16s for strikes on Russian territory

The Netherlands allowed the Ukrainian Armed Forces to use transferred F-16 fighters for strikes against Russia, including strikes in Russian airspace. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands Ruben Brekelmans.

    “We allow Ukraine to use the F-16 for self-defense. And for the purposes of self-defense, it may be necessary to intercept missiles or strike, for example, at airfields in Russia,” said the head of the country’s foreign policy department.
