Helicopter that crashed with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi on board was found in the Varzgan region of Eastern Azerbaijan. This was reported by the Iranian agency Tasnim.
According to the agency, in addition to Raisi, among the dead are Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the governor of the East Azerbaijan province Malek Rahmati, the Friday imam of the city of Tabriz Mohammad Ali Ale Hashem, and the head of the presidential guard, General of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Mehdi Mousavi. Two pilots and one technical worker are also considered dead, their names are unknown.
Earlier it was confirmed that Iranian President Raisi died in a helicopter crash.
