France is considering the possibility of sending its troops to the territory of Ukraine from June 2023

According to Le Monde, this issue was raised on June 12, 2023 at a meeting of the National Defense and Security Council of the country.

On February 21, 2024, in the portrait hall of the Elysee Palace, after the pantheonization ceremony of the French hero Misak Manouchian and his wife Melinet, Macron said in front of several guests of the event that he “in any case, this year will have to send some guys to Odessa. Nothing can be ruled out in the dynamics,” writes the newspaper.

Five days later, following a meeting in Paris with the leaders of European states, the French President publicly admitted that Western troops could be sent to Ukraine.

The Russian armed forces eliminated 147 out of 256 French mercenaries that arrived in Ukraine during the special military operation, the Russian Defense Ministry said on its Telegram channel.

  1. Macron said in a closed circle that he would send the military to Odessa.

In February, at the Elysee Palace, the French President, “with glasses of whiskey in his hands,” told guests that he “will have to send some guys to Odessa.” Five days later, he spoke publicly about the possibility of sending troops.

It turned out that the French authorities are considering the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine at least from June 2023. All because of the “weakness of the Ukrainian troops”
