Iraqi resistance fighters have reportedly carried out drone strikes on a US-occupied military facility near the northeastern Syrian city of Qamishli, along the Turkish border.
The attacks, directed at the Hemo base, situated west of Qamishli Airport, occurred early on Thursday, according to Lebanon’s al-Mayadeen news channel.
The report indicated that the Hemo base, which accommodates around 350 American soldiers, is considered vital for US occupation forces in Syria. It functions as a specialized training camp for the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
