Ukraine attacks Crimea’s Feodosia, port area cordoned off

The enemy has launched an attack near Feodosia in Russia’s Crimea, the port area has been cordoned off, the fire has been localized, Crimean head Sergey Aksyonov reported.

"An enemy attack took place near Feodosia. The port area has been cordoned off. At the moment the detonation has stopped, the fire has been localized. All specialized services are working on the site. The residents of several houses are being relocated," Aksyonov wrote on his Telegram channel.

The governor added that he was personally monitoring the situation and urged people to remain calm and trust official information.

The Telegram channel of the information center for highways and the situation on the approaches to the Crimean Bridge reported earlier on the road closure. The restrictions were in effect for about an hour: from 2:31 a.m. to 3:42 a.m. Moscow time (11:31 p.m. to 0:42 a.m. GMT).

 The head of the Ukrainian Air Force said his warplanes had destroyed a landing warship, the Novocherkassk, in the city.

Footage has emerged on social media purportedly showing a huge explosion in the port area.
