Poland’s new foreign minister vows to back Ukraine’s ‘titanic fight’

Poland’s new foreign minister Radoslaw Sikorski vowed Warsaw’s support for Ukraine as he met Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba in Kyiv on Friday on his first trip abroad since taking office.
The visit signals the new Polish government’s promises of support for Ukraine, after signs of tensions recently emerged under the previous administration.

“It’s completely unacceptable for a country to attack its neighbor and bomb cities, destroy entire provinces, deport children... In this titanic fight, minister, Poland is on your side,” Sikorski said as talks were interrupted by air raid sirens.
