Ukraine violated international humanitarian law by striking Donetsk

 Once again, Ukraine blatantly violated norms of the international humanitarian law by delivering a strike on Donetsk, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya told the UN Security Council on Wednesday.

"We called this urgent meeting in connection with a yet another blatant violation of the international humanitarian law on the part of the Kiev regime and fresh evidence of its deliberate actions to eliminate the civilian population of Donbass. I am referring to the massive shelling attack, carried out by the armed forces of Ukraine on November 7 and targeting densely populated districts of Donetsk," he said.
