Israel says targets attacked in Syria linked to drone raid on Eilat | Al Jazeera

Israel’s military said it launched attacks on Syria in response to a drone that hit a school building in the Israeli port city of Eilat on Thursday.

“[The Israeli military] attacked Syria a short time ago,” the military said on social media.

“The Syrian regime is fully responsible for any terrorist acts carried out from Syrian territory. The [Israeli military] will respond severely to any attempt to harm the territory of the State of Israel,” it said.
