Pentagon confirms sending US military to Israel as advisers

Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder confirmed the presence of American military advisers in Israel. He stated this on October 24 at a briefing for journalists.
“We asked several representatives with relevant experience to simply help Israeli citizens walk through the issues they need to think through in their planning, including recommendations for minimizing civilian casualties,” a Pentagon spokesman said.
