Deputy PM does not rule out Turkey may reopen to Russian tourists

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak does not rule out Russian tourists may start visiting Turkey again and restrictions may be lifted from the operation of Turkish building companies in Russia.

"Everything is possible," Kozak told the media, when asked if Russian holiday-makers might be allowed to go to Turkey again and Turkish building companies might see the lifting of restrictions from their operation on the Russian market in case of a warming in Russian-Turkish relations.

The Russian Foreign Ministry on November 24, 2015 advised Russians against making trips to Turkey in view of a threat to their security. The Russian tourist agency Rosturizm told domestic tour operators to stop selling trips to Turkey and sending holiday-makers to that country directly or via third countries. The largest tour operators agreed.

In the meantime, Russia has not suspended regular air links with Turkey. Russians travelling on their own are free to visit that country without restrictions.......More: http://tass.ru/en/politics/885096
