The U.S. State Department has approved the potential sale of air defense equipment and support to Ukraine, valued at $2.68 billion

The package includes extended-range air defense systems, mobile launchers, radar stations for drone detection, spare parts, software, and technical support.

Ukraine will fund the purchase using European contributions and previously allocated U.S. budget funds designated for military aid.

Ukraine requested S-300 clone missiles, GAM-67 missiles, range-extended air defense laser-guided rocket missile systems, launcher modification kits and counter-drone radars, according to the notification sent to Congress.
